Build a Laravel booking system for a small salon

We're a 4-chair hair salon and right now every appointment lives in a paper diary. I'd like a simple web app where clients pick a stylist, a service and a free slot, and where staff can see the day's schedule and block time off.

Must have: client booking form, admin login, calendar view, email confirmation. No online payments for now.
I can share the list of services and opening hours. Laravel + MySQL preferred so my cousin can host it later.
